CERIST Challenge days

As part of the Grands Challenges 2018 competition launched by

The Research Center for Scientific and Technical Information organizes the event

«Smart Living & Environments»

19 – 21 June 2018

The call is launched for young people who wish to engage in the competition of ideas on futuristic themes but with an immediate societal impact. The laureates will benefit from personalized assistance within incubators and will be accompanied until the actual realization of their project, through the creation of start-ups.


The projects to be proposed must contribute directly to improving the daily life of citizens. These projects can deal with issues related to one or more of the following themes :

  • Smart buildings
  • Smart grids and innovative energy management solutions
  • Smart transportation and road management solutions
  • Smart Precision agriculture
  • Smart healthcare systems
  • Smart solution for infrastructure monitoring (e.g., bridges, pipelines, electrical grids, water distribution networks)
  • Smart solutions for environment monitoring and preservation (e.g., air/water pollution)
  • Smart food and distribution chains
  • Smart solutions for entertainment and social activities

Terms and conditions

Acceptance of the terms and conditions of the competition agreement is a prerequisite for participation in the challenge.
